Mercy for None, is an absolute delight for action lovers. It's tightly packed, edge of seat, thriller. Definitely not for Rom-Com Lovers or not everyone's cup of tea. Being an Action Genre lover, it was absolute pleasure to watch Mercy for None and with most waited So Ji SuB. So Ji Sub and action are match made in heaven. 

If you are not light hearted and love action sequences, then this is for you!

Story Highlights:

Nam Gi Jun was once a key member of the Bongsan Gang, led by Koo Bong San. He fought through bloody turf wars, helping the gang rise to power. But everything changed when his younger brother, Nam Gi Seok, joined their rival gang, Joowoon, under Lee Ju Un. To protect his brother, Nam Gi Jun made a brutal choice - he left Bongsan for good, severing his left Achilles tendon as proof that he would never return.

Eleven years later, he lives a quiet life, running a small drink supply business serving Bongsan-owned establishments. He has no intention of going back. But when Nam Gi Seok, now the second-in-command of Joowoon, is found dead under suspicious circumstances, Nam Gi Jun knows he can't stay away. To find the truth and take revenge, he steps back into the underworld he swore to leave behind - where old grudges still burn, power has shifted, and nothing is as it seems.

Love for Brother: 

Gi Jun ( So Ji Sub), love for his brother Gi Seok is not expressed with hugs, but with their eyes. One who wishes to retire Gangster life and go camping with his brother is killed on the exact same day he meets his brother. Hurted Lion, doesnt sit back and starts to go hunting!

Divide and Rule:

When the Gang's lead divide and rule with their respective turfs, the clash starts with Bongsan's Clueless and brainless Son. Entire kingdom is done for with his foolish brain. It is obvious that the Bongsan Leader will do everything to save his Son. 

However, he was easily found and he himself is going in and out of the Safe place, which was logical miss. Bodyguards was also not up to par for the protection. 

Calm and honest Leader Joo Woon:

Where the Bongsan leader is Clumsy and often makes mess by himself and also his son, Joo Woon leader takes step always safely. He doesnt want to fall into any traps. He also have a Son, who is in a respected position as a Prosecutor. He wants to lead but also he too, have a son to protect. 

The decision to give everything to Gi Seok, might have irritated many that were thinking to take upon the leader role. And thats who killed Gi Seok.

Killings after Killings: 

Gi Jun, starts his revenge with killing from the starting place, the kids who started it and the revelation, order from the Bongsan Son, all the hitters who were hired.This ultimately leads to loose his best friends that were helping him. Brother and now two friends.

Gi Jun learned from the Joo Woon lead about the corrupt police that is earning from two groups rivalry. He is the master mind behind 11 years as well as now. He joins the hand with whom? is the final twist. Both plans to merge both the two rivals groups and rule it.

Loss of Joo Woon Lead: 

Final blow comes to Gi Jun, when he losses his beloved Lead of long time, Joo Woon. As we watch the episodes, we will know by Episode 4, who is behind all.

Final Say: 

One protective dad, who is the gang lead, doesn't want his son to take over this burden. The burden of gang, deaths, not to have nightmare while sleeping. There's a son, who wants to sabotage everything and rule it. who is who is what we have to see.

All said, director never forgets to convey, who takes the weapon dies with it. Whether our So Ji Sub survived all or not, finishes his target or not is what we have to watch and you will be satisfied to see all.
