Heavenly Ever After (2025) KDrama, Wondering how many of you watched it and liked it! 

Here's my honest Review:

I have to be honest in writing the Review, it may or may not hurt the cast or the creators. When you have the Son Suk Ku, the male lead who played in 'My Liberation Notes', which is my big all time favourite, I was eagerly waiting for it.., When I got to see the trailer in Netflix, I felt, ok Nah...,

But when saw the reels of the Series in Social Media everywhere, I thought this is taken well. I'm totally Sorry, to say this Series is really not up to the mark. Rated 7 for the half way series there are many things that's quite not working, anyway. I just wanted to make my time by writing the Review. Here it is.. 

Quick Overview:

It tells the story of an old woman, Hae Suk, who lived a happy life with her husband until she died. Her husband loved her so much and always admired her beauty, saying, “You were pretty in your twenties thirties, and now you are the most beautiful at eighty!”

When Hae Suk was about to die, she remembered her husband’s words and said, “I just want to go to heaven at my real age.” Surprisingly, when she arrived in heaven, she met her husband in his 30s version.

Pilot Episode:

I admired the struggles of Halmoni(Grandma), she deeply loved her husband even after his car accident, which led him paralysed. The way both understands each other was describing how love life should be.

Halmoni is also a loan shark, but in a polite and strict way. She is assisted by her adopted daughter, whom she met while collecting pending loan from an abusive dad. This daughter-like was her assistant and did deeds and protected Halmoni from obstacles.

Death of all three:

Kind-Hearted Ahjussi left when his time was up. Remembering him, Halmoni left shortly.

One thing I loved in this series was how sincere Yong Ae( adopted Daughter) and her love for the elder couple was. She lost her life voluntarily unable to feel the loss of Halmoni. She even wanted to go to Hell if Halmoni is there. So, just like that all 3 main leads lose their life and move to Heaven/Hell.

Heaven/Hell:

It is was new and all the sub stories/fillers where to good to see. Slowly, it started to feel boring or like Ok, we understand. sinners goes to Hell. Those dialogues and all the scenes where the Halmoni and young Ahjussi (young version of the lead) walk behind the rainbow was all skip scenes. Makes the Series Slow.

Old Halmoni and Young Ahjussi Chemistry is sick! I don't feel it. Probably the cast too. except the halmoni, who would not want to play this role, right..

Here's what would have made the series take a turn, if the Halmoni entered in younger say 20 or 25, then kick ass love romantic story and new betrayal and finally both choose to stay older will be still better, may be I should be the writer.

Dog Companions:

Loved the way, they told the pet also wait for the owners in heaven and even they can reunite. But too much time space for that also is losing interest.

Some Twists:

Heaven Dweller, who doesnt know herself and trying to figure out what she have done is some extra extra fillers.

Why Do I'm still watching the Series? I spent 6 hours and cant give up just for some time filling thing. other than that, please wait until all the episodes are streamed and only binge watch. 

We have 'TasteFully Yours' in Netflix that will Kick ass and it already made first 2 episodes Bang, Bang!

I'm sorry for the Heavenly Ever After Kdrama watchers, I have seen much better Series compared to this Halmoni and young man no chemistry, forced love scenes, not that really into it drama.
