Here's my review for When Life Gives You Tangerines (2025), KDrama:

First of all, about the title, does it means when life gives you tangerines, we have to consider it as a sweet and have it ? Or does it mention it also gives you sour taste and we have to move across all the obstacles?

Or does it means life is full of sweet and sour incidents?! This drama is really one among the soulful play written and its half way down and it already made many people cry their eyes out.

Myself is one among them. My eyes end up Puffy once I saw the episodes. 



Story line:

Not everyone knows about their grandparents. My kids doesn't even get a chance to see their paternal grandparents. Here, the play starts with the introduction of generations. 
Little girl (IU's mom) starts narrating her feeling for her mom and how much she loved and missed her home. There are few episodes that express Mom - Daughter love and it came out absolutely beautiful. 

She also narrates about how her grandparents used to treat her.

Blossoming Love:

It's been so long seeing first crazy cute love and this drama definitely brings out so lovely scenes which we can't easily forget. My God, you cant even describe their pure and beautiful love scenes. It made me fall in love, despite their hardships they endure all.

When the cast involved IU (Female lead) and Park Bo Gum(Male lead), the expectation exceeds automatically. How Bo Gum treated her made me feel, Wow! this is what is true first love is! He is madly in love with her, he falls from the ship into sea, swims and comes to her! That scene was lit !

Love for Family:

When they establish they cant live without each other, they make their own family. Now, the story starts telling the story of IU (female lead). She is phenomenal! In playing both her young mom and present herself. She is aspiring young talent who wants to achieve big with her education. Both her parents showers love and its very heartwarming to see their bonding.

Loss of a member:


Enduring loss of a family member is not easy and life still moves on. It was the toughest part to see. Being a mom, it was very tough to see. Chakkanim (Writer) really brought it all.

IU's on and off love:

IU's love life is it like her mom and dad fairy tale love? We need to watch and i dont want to say any more spoiler

My Reveiw:
Family, Love, Mom-Daughter bonding, Dad- Daughter bonding, Grandma- Mom bonding.
It is all about love. It is about family. Not one villian character so far. except a ex-mil.

Guys, if you want a soulful drama this is a must watch. I'm happy to write the conclusion part once the drama finishes. Kudos, to the cast, director, screenplay and the child artists, they nailed it.
